Oh you make me laugh.
I saw her about 2 weeks ago at the Moth storytelling and she was pretty funny. but this one-- HILARIOUS. I laughed so hard that I whimpered softly (because I was trying not to disturb the people around me). Oh, it is so sad how much of this i identify with!

I love it- that is why I could not ever go back to the dating scene. Rich and I talk about if one of us dies neither of us would remarry- not that each of us is so great (we aren't) but because it is all so very painful! Oh the pain.... (and I am laughing)
I saw this on Mere's blog too and it is so funny! I particularly loved the image of the 30 year old duck on the dance floor! I can totally imagine that.
ok, this is crazily unbelievable, but i totally grew up with elna baker! her family and my family lived in spain at the same time and we hung out all the time, and then her parents were in london when i lived there and i stored a bunch of luggage at their house while i went backpacking. crazy. small. world.
