Despite desperate attempts by my students (both male and female alike), I have not read any of the Twilight books nor have I seen any of the movies. I'm not sure if I ever plan to. We'll see. Have you read the books or seen any of the movies?
Sadly, i've done both. But not right when they came out. The books were read in some dark days last year while I was supposed to be working on my thesis (I needed something that required no brain energy whatsoever), and the movies were consumed like contraband. Nothing high quality, and should not be taken seriously, but fun for the moment.
Moi. (Ei tule tosin liittymään Twilightiin millään tavalla...)
Terveiset Suomesta. Törmäsin blogiisi erinäisten mutkien kautta ja vietin hyvän hetken elämäsi tapahtumien parissa. Vaikka allekirjoitus on mitä on, tietänet kuitenkin kuka tekstin takana on...
I'm glad I'm not the only one who is slightly ashamed of having read and enjoyed them. The women who are going absolutely nuts over the entire thing-- the ones who read the books over and over again, like in the article-- sort of worry me. I have a couple friends here who fall into that category. I wonder if maybe they should read Elder Bednar's talk on what is real!
I have NEVER believed in or supported Twilight. I read two of the books (on a 20 hour car trip across Canada with Beni reading over my shoulder) and thought they were ridiculous. They make women look pathetic, and are not at all a good depiction of what love is or should be.

I haven't read the books and most likely I won't, but the only good thing about the movies is the Jacob is so HOT. That's it.
I haven't read the books and most likely I won't; however, the only and only good thing of these movies is that Jacob is really hot. That's it.
